Product description
A pair of stunning, unique vintage handmade silver drop earrings (1980s) with a bohemian or oriental look. The pendants feature an openwork, pear-shaped or teardrop-shaped design (also known as a teardrop shape). These earrings are a real eye-catcher thanks to the highly detailed craftsmanship.
The silverwork is richly decorated with fine beadwork (granulation) and an openwork teardrop design. In the center of the pendants, a smooth, polished, oval black gemstone (likely onyx) is set in the silver.
The hallmark 900 is stamped on the back of the pendants. This indicates that it is authentic coin silver, which was frequently used for traditional and handmade silver jewelry from the Middle East or North Africa. This gives the jewelry more historical value than modern factory products. The earrings are equipped with convenient French hooks (ear hooks), making them comfortable to wear.
