Product description
17th century vintage Dutch tapestry fragment, printed on 100% oatmeal linen. Tasmanian oak rod to top and bottom with beeswax finish and hand-dyed hemp rope. Colouring is a mix of golden tan, darkest greens, chocolate brown and sepia. Features birds, rocks by a stream, and village buildings. Printed in Melbourne, handmade in Newcastle Australia in artist's garden studio. Measurements - 1310mm wide x 1700mm long overall, including hanger (51.5" x 67".) The fabric component is: 1190mm wide x 1350mm high, excluding hanger (46.8" x 53".)
