This impressive XXL floor vase by Scheurich, designed by Oswald Kleudgen, is a striking example of West German ceramic art from the 1960s. The so-called Fat Lava glaze gives the piece a distinctive, textured surface that is equally appreciated by collectors and design enthusiasts.
Made of high-quality ceramic, the vase captivates with its voluminous form and characteristic side handle. The deep black color is punctuated by vibrant red glaze gradients reminiscent of flowing lava. The base of the vase is stamped with the model number 486-38 and the inscription W.GERMANY, attesting to its origin and authenticity.
