Beautiful and characterful hand-knotted Oriental rug in the recognizable Heriz style.
Due to its dimensions, this compact size (Zaronim) is extremely versatile and perfectly suited for an atmospheric hallway, study, or compact seating area.
The rug features a bold, geometric central medallion.
The deep, warm red base tone is beautifully balanced by dark grey/brown accents, beige corner pieces, and subtle orange details.

The wool pile is beautifully evenly distributed and has no bald spots. The original fringes and selvages (sides) are intact and show normal, age-appropriate signs of wear.
Condition: The rug is in good vintage condition. It has always been handled with care and comes from a smoke-free retirement home without pets. Please see the detailed photos of the front and back for an accurate personal impression.
