Product description
Nomadic carpet produced in the Fars region (Iran) and sold in Hamadan. Knotted with 100% wool. It has about 60,000 knots per square meter. The geometry of these carpets, medallion or herringbone, makes them very different from the rest of the area. To make them, they use a Persian knot on the warp and double weft of cotton with wool from the area. Exported from Iran for 2015. (Estimated at €500-€600 in auction).
