Origin: India (likely Rajasthan/Jaipur) | Style: Traditional wood carving / Folk Art | Date: c. mid to late 20th century
Decorative, handcrafted wall-mounted coat rack made of dark-patinated solid wood with two sturdy, black iron hooks. The front is carved in relief with two floral rosettes – typical of Indian woodwork, where older wood panels (often from furniture or building components) are reused and reinterpreted as a coat rack.
The hooks are robust and well-suited for jackets, bags, scarves, or towels. Two mounting brackets are provided on the back for wall installation.
The coat rack is sturdy and suitable for hanging jackets, bags, scarves, or towels. Dimensions (approx., see photos with tape measure):

Condition:
Signs of wear and patina on the wood, as well as slight irregularities on the iron hooks – all authentic and in keeping with the character of a handcrafted piece. No functional impairment is apparent.
Ideal for hallways, wardrobes, bathrooms, or guest rooms – especially well-suited to country, boho, ethnic, vintage, and eclectic interiors.
