Product description
Large Hamolite ceiling lamp, type Patras, designed by Frans Hamers for Industria Rotterdam around 1930, with concealed mounting. Thanks to the hermetic seal (Dutch Patent 30870), dust cannot enter the lamp. Can be placed upright or hung from the ceiling. Dimensions: H x D = 29 x 25 cm. Material: glass and brass. Marked: Indulite and an I with an R through it, which stands for Industria Rotterdam. With original screw thread. Dust along the bottom edge (see photo 7) is internal, as it is smooth and barely visible when the lamp is hanging on a wall or ceiling. Otherwise in good condition.
