Original Hallstatt Keramik vase with factory stamp “Hallstatt Austria” on the underside.
Attributed to Gudrun Baudisch-Wittke, associated with the Wiener Werkstätte and the Hallstatt studio in Austria.
Mid-century design (ca. 1950s–60s) featuring the characteristic applied drop relief surface.
Dimensions:
Height approx. 14.5 cm, diameter approx. 8 cm.
Condition:
Beautiful, honest vintage condition.
On the raised relief tips, the red clay body shows through in places. This is very typical of Hallstatt Keramik and often an intentional stylistic element of hand-made production; partly it is minimal glaze characteristics which, due to the red clay body, are hardly distinguishable from the intended surface structure and underline the rustic charm.
On the underside foot ring there are minor, barely visible chips which do not show when the vase is standing.
A lovely collector’s piece for enthusiasts of Austrian studio pottery, Wiener Werkstätte heritage, and mid-century modern interiors. Perfect with Scandinavian teak furniture, minimalist décor and retro design settings.
Shipping:
Safe, professional packaging; tracked and insured shipping from Austria.
Private sale – no returns.
