A characteristic Hala Zeist Model 145, designed by H.Th.J.A. Busquet. This Dutch design from the 1950s/60s is recognizable by its large hemispherical shade, double slender arm, and compact rectangular base.
This piece has been completely refreshed and repainted. The lamp received a new color combination of warm ocher yellow, off-white, and high-gloss black. A fresh execution that beautifully highlights the strong, graphic lines of the original design.
The electrical system has also been addressed: the wiring has been completely replaced, so the lamp is ready for years of use. The adjustable arm and tiltable shade still make the 145 particularly functional, both as a desk lamp and a striking table lamp.
Despite the new finish, it remains an original vintage piece. Small traces consistent with its age may therefore be present.
