Lobed dish. Melonnière. Fruit dish with 10 lobes, perfect for presenting a quartered melon or a set of fruits. In Gien earthenware. The Manufacture de Gien, located in the Loire Valley, has been producing earthenware for two hundred years. This quest for excellence combined with creativity has earned the Faïencerie de Gien the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label. Each piece is made by hand in France, and requires many hours of work and special attention to ensure a perfect finish. In all, a single plate passes through the hands of 30 master Faïenciers. François 1 er decor. A decor no longer made. Blue and ochre motif. Old-style piece.
