For sale is a completely restored original Glostrup armchair in mint condition.

Description:
Classic Easy Chair, beautiful finish of solid teak, striking shapely design, a pleasure to look at and sit in.
Construction:
Solid teak frame with three-dimensional armrests crafted from a single piece, new seat straps in care composite and new cushion protection attached above; cushions individually removable. New premium textile cover (see material for properties), removable with zipper.
All seams are executed as an elegant fell seam according to the original pattern (with this type of seam, the individual cover parts interlock as with finger hooking and are then double stitched. This type of seam is therefore considerably more robust, has a significantly higher tensile strength and is significantly more durable than single / standard seams).

A particularly robust and heavy (almost 700g/rm) premium upholstery material with a very beautiful, striking woven look was chosen here. This upholstery fabric with a strong structure is easy to care for, hard-wearing and has also been treated with stain protection. It is characterized by a very high abrasion resistance of over 100,000 abrasion cycles and is therefore twice as durable as upholstery materials used for public facilities with very heavy use. (highest quality range according to Martindale) (from 50,000 abrasion cycles) The degree of light fastness is greater than 5.

The photos are high-exposure so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Reddish tones become redder and colors generally lighter. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones.

Condition:
This armchair has been lovingly restored by the restorer using traditional and natural materials. It is technically and visually in excellent and mint condition. A more detailed description of this dream condition is not necessary. You will not only immediately see the difference to the armchairs of other sellers - especially due to the quirks and scratches on the armrests and legs that are almost always present there - but you will also feel it! It would be very, very difficult to find a better condition!
