For sale is a completely restored original Glostrup armchair in like-new condition.

Description:
Classic easy chair, beautifully crafted from solid teak, striking and elegant design, a pleasure to look at and sit in.
Construction:
Solid teak frame with three-dimensional armrests crafted from a single piece of wood, new woven seat webbing, and new cushion protectors attached above; cushions are individually removable. New premium fabric upholstery (see material properties), removable via zipper.
All seams are finished with elegant flat-felled seams according to the original pattern (in this type of seam, the individual upholstery pieces interlock like finger wrestling and are then double-stitched. This type of seam is therefore considerably more robust, has significantly higher tensile strength, and is considerably more durable than single/standard seams).

A particularly robust and heavy (almost 700 g/m) premium upholstery fabric with a very attractive, distinctive woven texture was chosen. This textured upholstery fabric is easy to care for, durable, and has been additionally treated with a stain-resistant finish. It boasts a very high abrasion resistance of over 100,000 rubs, thus offering twice the durability of upholstery fabrics used in high-traffic public spaces. (Highest quality level according to Martindale) designed for (from 50,000 abrasion cycles). The lightfastness rating is greater than 5.

The photos are overexposed to show the pristine condition in detail! This makes reddish tones appear redder and colors generally lighter. The shaded areas, or those not directly illuminated by the lighting, best represent the true colors.

Condition:
This armchair has been lovingly restored by a professional restorer using traditional and natural materials. It is in excellent, like-new condition, both technically and visually. A more detailed description of this exceptional condition is unnecessary. You will not only immediately see but also feel the difference compared to armchairs from other suppliers – especially due to the almost always present nicks and scratches on the armrests and legs! Finding one in better condition would be extremely difficult!
