A beautiful, hand-thrown stoneware pitcher with a majolica-style glaze. The milky white glaze reveals the rust/dark brown ceramic beneath, adorned with dark blue, mint green, and blackish-brown floral motifs. Its attractive cylindrical shape features a fluted, rounded neck, a handsome, solid handle, and a small spout. A vintage piece, typical of the 1970s, produced in Vallauris and unsigned, attributable to Boris Kasianoff, in the style of the work of Albert Thiry from the Mûrier workshop in Derval.
21cm high, 16cm maximum length including the handle, 11.5cm maximum diameter. In very good condition, with a small, discreet glaze flaw on the base, under the handle, which is very likely original. Approximately 1.5kg.
