Jerszy Seymour * 1968 in Berlin is a Canadian product designer who lives and works in Berlin. Seymour grew up in London. . After an engineering degree from 1987 to 1990 at South Bank Polytechnic, he studied Industrial Design from 1991 to 1993 at the Royal College of Art in 1999. He moved to Milan, where he began implementing his own projects - including "House in a Box "(2002)," Uitschot "(2003) and" Tape "(2003). Since 2004, he has lived and worked in Berlin. Experimental projects are central to his work. His work has a strong conceptual background and deals with cultural, social and political issues. At the same time, he also works for renowned companies such as Magis, Vitra, Moulinex, SFR, IDEA and others. His work has been exhibited at the Design Museum in London, the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Gallery Kreo in Paris and at MARTa Herford. He was guest of honor at Design Brussels 2005. His works are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Fonds National de Art Contemporain France and the Musée d'Art Grand-Duc Jean Luxembourg. He has taught at the Royal College of Art in London, at the Domus Academy in Milan, at the ECAL in Lausanne, at the HfG Karlsruhe and under the Vitra Design Workshops in France
