Splendid and rare set of 8 vintage dining chairs, 1970s, attributable to the taste of Italian Mid-Century Modern design and Hollywood Regency aesthetics. The chairs feature a refined geometric structure in square-section chrome-plated steel, with a characteristic sled profile, combined with slightly padded curved seats and backrests upholstered in black velvet. Due to formal and constructive characteristics, the set is attributable to the manufacture of Romeo Rega / Willy Rizzo, an attribution to be understood as a stylistic and productive reference. The 8-piece configuration makes the set particularly suitable for important dining tables, both in modernist environments and in contemporary contexts where a highly decorative element is sought. Conditions: 5 chairs are in excellent general condition, with shiny chrome plating and well-preserved velvet. 3 chairs show slight superficial imperfections in the chrome plating, located exclusively at the welds. These are signs consistent with the age and use of the object, which do not compromise either the overall aesthetic or the structural stability. Measurements per chair: Width 47 cm × depth 46 cm × height 78 cm.
