Designer Gio Ponti developed the Superleggera in 1957 as the ultimate experiment in lightness. Inspired by the traditional Chiavari chair, he reduced the weight to just 1.7 kg, thanks to the refined triangular ash wood frame. The result is a chair that you can literally lift with one finger, yet remains exceptionally strong and durable — a true masterpiece of pure craftsmanship.
