Product description
Special Italian lounge chair by Giandomenico Belotti for CMP Padova, executed as part of the Fly Line series. The armchair is constructed from a minimalist black lacquered tubular metal frame with a seat and backrest made of tightly stretched black plastic cords. The transparent construction gives the armchair a striking graphic character and ensures that the rather substantial model remains visually very light. A nice detail is the adjustable backrest, which allows the seating position to be adjusted. The slanted seat and open construction make it a distinctive lounge chair, while the rhythm of the fine black cords creates a different interplay of lines from every angle.
The armchair is in neat original vintage condition. The upholstery is complete, supple and tidy, and is well tensioned. The black lacquered metal frame shows light signs of wear consistent with age and use.
Dimensions are as follows: height 71 cm, width 63 cm, depth 63 cm. Seat height 35 cm.
