The chair is made from carefully bent Santos palisander veneer wood, resulting in its characteristic sculptural shape reminiscent of a pretzel. The design became known as the Pretzel Chair because of its extraordinary continuous curves. The sculptural backrest and armrests, circular seat and slender tapered legs give the chair an exceptionally light and elegant silhouette. Made from moulded laminated wood with a beautifully figured Santos palisander veneer.
