Original Gelderland 400 swivel armchair – designed by Jan des Bouvrie
Beautiful original Gelderland Model 400 swivel armchair, designed by the Dutch designer Jan des Bouvrie. A characteristic Dutch design classic from the 1970s, featuring the recognizable generous shape, high back, and elegant chrome swivel base.
The armchair is wonderfully comfortable and, thanks to the swivel mechanism, also very pleasant to use. Furthermore, the red upholstery gives the chair a distinct vintage look.

Condition
The chair is in beautiful used/vintage condition. The frame and swivel mechanism function well, and the armchair is otherwise complete and sturdy. The fabric upholstery shows some signs of wear consistent with its age:
* There is slight discoloration of the red fabric in various places, particularly visible depending on the angle of light.
* Light wear is visible on the fabric of the armrest.
* No major damage or tears.
