A beautiful ceramic vase from West Germany (West Germany Pottery), produced by the Gebrüder Spang factory (marked "GS" in a triangle under the base). This model (reference 219/20) perfectly illustrates German modernist design of the 1970s. It stands out with its clean lines and a superb interplay of contrasts: Upper section: A textured matte glaze in a very soft, dusty rose. Lower section: A dark, almost black, anthracite gray with a seamless transition to bluish hues.
