We offer this beautiful early 20th-century Italian garden set, crafted from a combination of concrete and gravel. This majestic set includes two large ornamental garden vases.
The vases are characterized by rich Baroque-inspired decoration. They have a flared, chalice-like shape. They rest on a solid square base, which tapers into a fluted pedestal before opening into the main body of the container. The top is wide and contoured, with protruding decorative scrolls. On the sides, two cherub heads create a distinctive visual accent. The central band is richly decorated with classically styled ornamental relief motifs. They are in good condition, with small traces of restoration that do not detract from the overall aesthetic beauty, signs consistent with age and outdoor use.
