We are pleased to present this splendid oil painting on plywood panel, dating back to the early 20th century. This magnificent painting is signed lower right: N. Sidoli. This signature is attributable to the Italian painter Nazzareno Sidoli (Rossoreggio, July 19, 1879 – Piacenza, January 21, 1969). The painting depicts nobles and ladies in 18th-century dress strolling outdoors. The figures stroll in a garden with stone architecture, surrounded by trees in autumnal hues. The landscape is complemented by a deep blue sky crossed by luminous white clouds. The artistic quality is excellent, with rapid, vibrant brushstrokes inspired by the Impressionist period. The colors are intense, dominated by warm earth tones, the red of the clothes, and the bright contrasts of the sky.
