Elegant Louis XV style armchair, fully restored by me, a qualified upholsterer.
This piece has been meticulously renovated to preserve its character while adding comfort and a modern touch.
The padding has been replaced with high-resilience foam, ensuring a comfortable and durable seat. The armchair is upholstered in a bright and warm mustard velvet fabric, accented by a double-corded duck-egg blue trim that adds a refined and contemporary touch.
The wooden frame has been fully restored and given a shabby chic patina, highlighting the elegant curves of the Louis XV style.
The velvet lining (fabric on the back) is by Odile Bayonne, a testament to expert craftsmanship.
This unique piece combines antique charm with a refined finish, ideal for enhancing a living room, bedroom, or elegant interior.
The armchair is approximately forty years old, and the wood therefore shows imperfections due to its age, which only adds to its charm.
