A 1960s Fristho sideboard from the Netherlands, originally built as a combined radio and record-player cabinet, now converted into a characterful storage piece.
The central drop-front panels — once giving access to the turntable and radio — open to a shelved interior. The two side compartments, which originally housed the speakers, are now open display sections framed with brass-tone trim, ideal for books, vinyl or decorative objects. Warm teak veneer on a clean, linear case, standing on black metal legs with castors.
At 152 cm wide but only 36 cm deep, it's a generous yet shallow sideboard — easy to place in a living room or hallway. A piece with genuine mid-century audio heritage, reworked for everyday use as a media unit, record cabinet or display sideboard.
Condition: good vintage condition, light wear consistent with age. Please note this is a converted piece — the original audio components have been removed and the cabinet adapted for storage. Not an original, unaltered Fristho audio cabinet.
