French Hot Air Balloon Chandelier, 1950s Modern Toleware.
A refined and dramatic 1950s French chandelier made of painted toleware, modeled in the characteristic shape of a hot air balloon. A highly charming modern antique piece, unique for its craftsmanship and evocative aesthetic.
The main structure, spherical and slightly patinated by time, is decorated with tricolor skirts in blue, white, and red, embellished with raised gold rosettes. The hot air balloon body slopes toward a pointed base, supported by a metal frame decorated with matching motifs. Four candle-finish lamp holders, which hold flame-shaped bulbs, create a warm and atmospheric lighting effect.
