Colorful painters; a beautiful and especially large work by the famous artist Freek van den Berg. Freek van den Berg (Amsterdam 1918 - Veessen 2000) belongs to the Fauvist group and was one of the last Dutch painters to work in this expressive and colorful way. His oeuvre includes diverse performances; of cityscapes and landscapes, but especially the theme in which the woman returns again and again. He was a member of the "independents" and an art critic.
