This armchair is designed by the respected Czechoslovak designer František Jirák for Tatra Nabytok, one of the leading Czechoslovak furniture producers of the 1960s. A representative piece of the Eastern European Brussels Style, the chair features the clean, organic lines and practical proportions characteristic of Jirák's work for Tatra.
