Product description
Forest Blues is an ode to nature. To rhythm and to the silent music hidden in a landscape.
Green, yellow-green, earthy tones and subtle color differences build up layer by layer. The burnt lines give each form its own character, while all forms together create a larger living whole.
The work has something of a forest that is constantly in motion: Leaves gently moving, light falling through the green, and an almost audible rhythm that remains present beneath the surface.
Here too, music is at the core. The free swing and deep blues sounds of jazz formed an important source of inspiration during the creation of the work.
Created simultaneously with "River Blues", which have exactly the same dimensions and can also be purchased as a set.
Anneke Winterman finds infinite inspiration in nature, tranquility, and the rhythm of life. In 2005, she completed Autonomous Fine Art at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. Several of her artworks have been included in various publications. www.annekewinterman.nl
