The FM60 chaise longue, designed by Radboud van Beekum for Pastoe in the 1980s, is an iconic piece of Dutch design. This model, often called the Kubus chair, is distinguished by its strict geometric silhouette and suspended seat, offering a striking contrast between the rigidity of the structure and the flexibility of the material.
This edition features a black lacquered metal frame, forming a perfect cube that serves as the base for the seat and backrest. The upholstery is made of bright yellow leather, adding a bold pop of color. The minimalist design highlights the purity of the lines and the quality of the materials used, characteristic of the De Stijl movement that inspired the designer.
The chair is in very good condition, retaining all its structural and aesthetic integrity. The leather is new, while the metal frame remains solid and well-preserved.
