Magnificent side or table lamp, originally designed in 1969 by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen, although the rights were soon transferred to &Tradition. The magnificent design of the Flowerpot model is enhanced by the choice of material: burgundy lacquered steel. It originated in the vibrant Europe of the 1960s and the rise of flower power, a time when Verner Panton ushered in the pop aesthetic in furniture and lighting with his futuristic and colorful designs. It has personalized public spaces, especially in the restaurant sector, and private spaces around the world, and remains fully relevant today. He established an unmistakable style with his visionary interiors filled with color, as he believed that color could provoke emotions. It consists of two opposing hemispheres that support the light bulb, creating a suggestive combination of indirect light and a very personal color aesthetic. Light is perhaps one of the most important factors in today's society, as it can create spaces, shape the environment, and construct new dimensions. The model we present is from the 1990s. It retains the original transparent wiring, is functional and features the signature on the base, both of the designer and the producing brand.
