After graduating from the Camondo school, Sabine Charoy began her career as a decorator and designer. She first worked with Janette Laverrière, then with Italian master Gio Ponti, with whom she learned the rigors of design. She then met Max Ingrand and was part of the Verre Lumière adventure from the outset, managing the design office. She took part in the design of many Verre Lumière models, notably signing a large pendulum floor lamp, the chrome lamps model 10367, the sofa floor lamp 10592...
