The Flexform Groundpiece is an iconic modular sofa designed by Antonio Citterio. This specific piece combines generous seating space with an integrated storage element, making the design both aesthetic and functional.
The sofa is finished in black upholstery, creating a timeless and versatile look. The design is characterized by the low, deep seat and the distinctive armrest that also serves as a bookcase or side table. The width of the main element is 240 centimeters, as indicated in the attached technical drawing. The modular construction offers flexibility in the arrangement.
The furniture is in good condition and displays character befitting previous use, including a small burn hole (see photo). The structure is completely intact and the cushions retain their comfortable volume. The original finish of the storage element has been preserved.
