Product description
Old regula clock with black and gold patina under a dome depicting Saint Cecilia, patron saint of musicians, with her pen in hand and lyre, against a plant-based backdrop. Goldsmith (name on the dial but difficult to decipher) in Mons (Belgium). 19th century. Signed. In very good condition.
Black wooden base. Clock in perfect condition.
Balancer and mechanism present: as the latter has not activated, it likely needs to be revised or repaired.
Overall dimensions with the sphere (Wd * Dp * Ht): 34 x 17.5 x 41 cm.
