Product description
This table lamp reflects the French decorative aesthetic popularized by Maison Jansen in the 1970s. The piece features an upright shell formed from amber and dark brown resin, reproducing the spotted pattern and gloss of natural tortoiseshell. It stands on a slender dark metal shaft anchored to a flared square pedestal base finished in black lacquer. The reverse of the resin shell reveals textured anatomical ribs and holds a single adjustable socket mounted on a swivel joint. This articulated mechanism allows the user to tilt the light source to achieve the optimal angle and directional beam for the room. The light projects against the inner surface to create an indirect ambient reflection. The lamp suits a console table, desk, or open shelving in Hollywood Regency and mid-century modern interiors.
