About Jopeko
The Jopeko factory was founded in 1848 and is located in Ransbach-Baumbach. The company is one of the few to have survived the economic downturn of the 1970s. Vases and other decorative objects are still produced today. The current (third-generation) owner shares the name of the founder: Johan Peter KOrzilius.
Jopeko is best known for its vases with fat lava glazes—the brightly colored, glossy, and dripping lava-like glazes. I also have a matching lamp.
