An incredible opportunity to purchase a mid-century Italian art cabinet dining set, a complete masterpiece of Milanese cabinetmaking.
Produced by the renowned Fratelli Rigamonti of Desio around 1940, this set blends a classic, monumental style with the sophisticated elegance of Mid-Century Modern.
The entire set is crafted from the same fine dark mahogany, offering a warm, deep hue.
The Furniture Components
The Dining Table: Fine mahogany frame with an elegant mint green glass top.
The pedestal base features brass details and gilded claw feet that match the sideboards.
The 6 Chairs: A matching set of six mahogany chairs.
The tall, curved backrests are upholstered in a luxurious white silk with a detailed, visible jacquard pattern (as clearly shown on the center chair), lending shine and refinement.
High Sideboard (Bar/Display Cabinet): An imposing bar/display cabinet (H133 x W204 x D50) in mahogany, with pearwood interiors for exceptional color contrast.
It features four doors with allegorical artistic panels of pastoral scenes and four lower drawers with gilded handles and coats of arms.
It features the original, fully functional interior lighting. The base features brass lion's paw feet.
Low Sideboard (Long Buffet): A sumptuous sideboard (H93 x W294 x D54) in mahogany, with pearwood interiors.
It features six doors, two in the center with matching artistic panels and four in burl mahogany with gilded coats of arms. The top is made of marbled back-lacquered glass.
Equipped with the original, fully functional interior lighting. The base features brass lion's paw feet.
The set is completed by the lavish, matching gilded mirror, positioned above the long sideboard, and the period spherical floor lamp, included to create a complete and luxurious ambience.
