Product description
Large mid century coffee table designed by Bernhard Rohne, Germany, 1960s. Signed. The table features an etched and oxidized metal top with organic patterns typical of Rohne’s work. The base is finished in palisander veneer. Bernhard Rohne is known for his distinctive etched metal furniture surfaces which later became internationally recognized through his collaboration with Mastercraft in the 1970s. His work introduced a new decorative language to modern furniture, combining sculptural surfaces with refined materials.
