A refined English writing desk from the early 19th century, in the style of the Regency period / William IV, crafted from richly figured mahogany, dating from circa 1810-1840. The table stands on elegant turned legs with original brass casters and is connected by a turned crossbar. The table features four drawers and beautifully carved corner details in the form of scrolls, giving the piece a refined architectural appearance. The warm mahogany patina and aged surface add beautiful depth and character. An elegant and timeless piece, ideal as a writing desk, library table, or coffee table.
