This Empoli carafe with a kingfisher stopper is a striking example of Italian glassware from the 1950s and 60s. The design stands out thanks to the elegant, elongated stopper and the deep, clear color typical of the Empoli region.
The carafe is crafted from mouth-blown glass in a rich turquoise hue. The ribbed pattern on the body of the bottle creates a subtle play of light, while the slender, pointed stopper gives the silhouette a refined height. The stopper features a plastic ring for a secure seal.
The glassware is in good condition and has retained its original luster and color depth. The craftsmanship is evident in the minor imperfections characteristic of mouth-blown glass from this period.
