Product description
Silkscreen by Emilio Scanavino, executed in 1969, reflecting the gestural and sign-based research that defines the artist’s work at the end of the 1960s.
The composition is structured through a strong contrast between the red chromatic field and the black mark, developed into a dynamic and nervous network that recalls the material tension typical of his visual language. The linear drawing in the lower section introduces an additional level of interpretation, highlighting the relationship between spontaneous gesture and formal construction.
The work is offered as an artist’s proof.
