Large elongated glazed ceramic platter signed Buxó (Thomas Buxó, a leading Catalan figure in contemporary ceramic design and art, winner of the Grand Prix de Rome in 1996). The piece was produced in the renowned Spanish workshop Atzana (signature under the base), specializing in high-quality modernist pieces.
This piece is distinguished by its graphic abstract decoration, its stylized bull, its interplay of black lines, and touches of red on a luminous cream background. A highly expressive modern and Mediterranean composition, typical of Buxó's aesthetic.
