The Elda armchair, designed by Joe Colombo in 1963 and produced by Comfort, is an undisputed icon of Italian design and Space Age aesthetics. This particular piece is an original 1978 edition, a piece of design history that boasts a presence in the permanent collections of prestigious institutions such as the MoMA in New York and the Triennale in Milan. The structure features a free-standing white fiberglass shell resting on a 360-degree swivel base.
