2 x Eames “La Fonda” Fiberglass Armchairs – Charles & Ray Eames, 1960s – Original Vintage
For sale are two original Eames La Fonda armchairs from the 1960s – an iconic design by Charles & Ray Eames, produced for Herman Miller (later Vitra). The rare fiberglass shells display the typical, beautiful fiber structure and sit on the original white “La Fonda” four-star base.
Condition:
The chairs are in good, stable vintage condition. The fiberglass shells exhibit an authentic patina (light scratches, dull spots, and discoloration), as is common and often even desirable in pieces from this era. The base is sturdy, original, and securely supports the chairs.
