Ringers Dutch souvenir box from the 1960s. The Holland Chocolate Twin, produced by Ringers Chocoladefabriek, Alkmaar, Netherlands, is an original chocolate box (not included) with a pair of traditional Dutch clogs made of natural wood, painted with a double silkscreen and numbered 13 inside. Ringers was a well-known Dutch chocolate manufacturer active from 1905 to 1972. The box was produced for the Italian market and is a typical example of 1960s design. Its condition and the presence of the clogs (the Dutch national symbol) make it a rare find. The box is made of stiff cardboard decorated with the Dutch flag (red, white, and blue) and yellow flowers.
