A double-sided wooden photo frame from the 1960s, characterised by an essential geometric composition, where the modular surface pattern transforms an everyday object into a refined decorative piece. The frame is carved from a single block of wood, featuring a regular sequence of incisions that creates a grid of square volumes. The two openings, positioned differently on each side, define the double-sided nature of the design: one is centred, while the other is offset, subtly interrupting the rhythm of the composition without compromising its balance. A pair of sliding glass panels allows photographs to be easily inserted and replaced while preserving the frame's clean, architectural appearance.
