Rare and highly sought-after Finn Juhl "Diplomat" executive desk, designed in 1958 and produced by France & Son during the 1960s.
This iconic teak desk features the classic Diplomat design with two elegant floating drawer units on each side, fitted with polished aluminum handles. The drawers are beautifully detailed with wooden dividers. A very well-executed glass shelf sits above the knee space, providing additional surface area while maintaining the light, floating aesthetic.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with beautiful patina. Minor repair on the front edge of the left-hand teak pull-out writing surface (professionally done and barely noticeable).
