The Rolf Benz Dono corner sofa is an iconic design that effortlessly combines comfort and clean lines. This specific version distinguishes itself through the integration of a wooden trim, which offers a warm counterpoint to the robust leather.
The sofa consists of a section 297 cm wide—the seat can be extended to create a daybed—and a section perpendicular to it, 240 cm wide. The seat height is 42 cm.
The sofa is upholstered in black leather and rests on a minimalist, sturdy metal frame. The distinctive wooden trim, executed in a walnut pattern, runs along the back and side and serves as a practical and aesthetic addition. The loose back cushions can be positioned as desired for optimal seating comfort.
This corner sofa is in a condition befitting its age and use, with the leather having acquired a weathered character. I would also like to mention that damage/wear is visible on 2 seat cushions. However, the construction is still very sturdy and the materials retain their original quality. This piece of furniture comes into its own perfectly in a modern or industrial interior. The combination of black leather and walnut makes it a versatile centerpiece in a spacious living room.
The sofa was purchased in late 2010; the receipt and documentation are still available. New price € 10,550.
