This is the Discocó 68 ceiling light, a design by Christophe Mathieu for the Spanish brand Marset. The piece is known for its dramatic and decorative character, both when lit and unlit. The lamp is constructed from a series of opaque ABS plastic discs, attached to a central core of chromed metal. The exterior of the discs is finished in black, while the interior has a gold-colored finish that provides a warm, atmospheric light reflection. With a diameter of 68 cm and a height of 52 cm, this 2008 design has a significant presence. The light is complexly reflected and diffused between the discs, resulting in a rich interplay of light and shadow on the ceiling and in the room. This item is in very good condition, retaining its original finish and structure.
