This is the Discocó 53 ceiling light, designed by Christophe Mathieu for the Spanish brand Marset. The piece is known for its dramatic and decorative character, both when lit and unlit. The lamp is constructed from a series of opaque ABS plastic discs, attached to a central core of chrome-plated metal. The exterior of the discs is black, while the interior has a gold-colored finish that provides a warm, atmospheric light reflection. With a diameter of 53 cm and a height of 34 cm, this 2008 design has a significant presence. The light is reflected and diffused in a complex way between the discs, resulting in a rich play of light and shadow on the ceiling and in the room. This item is in very good condition, retaining its original finish and structure. Due to its sculptural form and warm light effect, the Discocó 68 is an excellent choice as a central light fixture above a dining table, in a living room, or in a spacious hall. The design fits seamlessly into both modern and more eclectic interior styles.
