An absolute collector's item and design icon of the 1970s. An original, 6-piece modular seating group, model DS-46, from the Swiss luxury manufacturer De Sede. The DS-46 is world-renowned for its uncompromising quality. Crafted from up to 5 mm thick, extremely robust bull neck leather, the heavy upholstery and organic shape offer unparalleled seating comfort. Thanks to the solid joints on the underside, the modules can be securely connected. In good, well-maintained vintage condition. The legendary De Sede neck leather has developed a beautiful, distinctive patina that truly gives this classic its character. No deep tears or holes; the upholstery is perfectly stable. The De Sede DS-46 was ordered from the Swiss luxury brand at the request of the furniture store Pesch in Cologne. The set has been located in a bungalow near Cologne ever since and was acquired from its original owner.
