The Tivoli / Divan 2 lamp is an iconic pendant lamp designed in 1962 by Danish designer Simon P. Henningsen for the Divan 2 restaurant in Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen.
Its distinctive form consists of overlapping steel trapezoids that are hand-polished, creating a mirror-like, sculptural form. The lamp reflects the surroundings from the outside, while its colored surfaces create a soft, glare-free light and a striking interplay of colors on the inside.
The Divan 2 is considered an icon of Danish design and is often considered a statement piece in interiors.
